Critical Mass ExposureIf you have ever heard of James Renouf, then you know he is someone who releases several products within the Warrior Forum and according to Ripoff Report, gets several complaints. Well, another product release has emerged from Renouf and this one is called Critical Mass Exposure. Rule #1: If the product title doesn’t give you an idea as to what it is – chances are there is little value to what is being offered. But I was certainly curious about what the product was about, in fact, I didn’t even know if it was an ebook, video or software. So, with that said – I purchased Critical Mass Exposure.

Review of the Critical Mass Exposure

The Critical Mass Exposure training is a single PDF file that is 39 pages written by James Renouf which discusses a single method for attaining traffic to your website or additional clicks to affiliate links. There was an upsell for a video guide Out of respect of James Renouf, I will not reveal the exact website he talks about inside this training, but I will mention that it is not cutting edge nor will it create ‘Critical Mass Exposure’ of traffic. Essentially Critical Mass Exposure taps into a website that hosts audio files in which you can leverage as a traffic source. Within the training, he gives a walkthrough on a case study that was done with a particular audio broadcast that led to a landing page which sold a $197 course. The case study showed that they attained a single sale which ended up being a 1.25% conversion rate based on the traffic. And based on WarriorPlus, this was the only sale of the product. Have a look at the screenshot.   If this source of traffic was causing ‘Critical Mass Exposure’, then wouldn’t you think they would get more sales? For all we know, this sale was made by one of his buddies for the sheer sake of this training.

Who is Critical Mass Exposure For?

I can’t say that anyone would benefit from this training because the proof elements within the training are so weak. The only benefit I could see has to do with reputation management and securing your username/brand so that someone else doesn’t take it. But that’s it.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • I do admit that the idea of creating traffic from this audio website is a unique idea
  • No affiliate links within the PDF

    Cons

  • It fails to impress me as a major traffic source as the initial sales page suggests
  • The guide is quite fragmented and hard to follow
  • The training is not very in-depth and seems to rush through the process
  • Proof elements are weak

Does Critical Mass Exposure Offer Support?

Other than sending James a private message within Warrior Forum, there is no support available. So, if you have any questions or want to follow up with further training, it isn’t available and you’re left fending for yourself.

My Final Thoughts on Critical Mass Exposure

Although the idea of getting traffic from this audio website is a neat idea, it fails to impress me a something that will create any sort of critical mass exposure of traffic for your website, brand or affiliate links. The proof elements are very weak and don’t support any of the statements on the sales page.

  1. James Renouf is a criminal, engaging in blatant fraud and illegal practices. I can’t believe so many fools have been duped by him. Hopefully he will be locked up soon for his crimes.

  2. I had a run in with James back around 2011 to 2012. He wanted to promote one of my products that I had an idea for but I just got a bad vibe and saw him and his other products as unprofessional. I had done a launch with Martin Crumlish and James kept asking me. How does he do it? How does he do it? At that time Martin was doing about a major launch per month but all of his products was some type of software or WordPress plugin. Martin would make a deal with the product creator and make the launch easy by setting up the membership website, creating the sales page and then promoting. Although when you make that type of deal the commission split is still somewhat unfair.

Anyways, these are NOT James’ products. He’s making a deal with unexperienced marketers who have some sort of e-book they created, and then doing a launch branding it as his. So not only are the people getting screwed because these products are usually rehashed, but he’s also screwing the product owner as he’ll become an affiliate of his own product and promote it to his list. And in reality the owner of the product will be only getting 25% of the actual sales instead of 50%.

What’s so funny is that so many people eat it up. Even without telling what the product is in the sales copy. He’s basically selling his soul to the devil.

  3. James Renouf is a joke. I knew I recognized the name and face from somewhere, then realized it was a Warrior Forum guru. A few month ago I was browsing in Warrior Plus and was shocked to see that this guy launches several products a month, sometimes even more than 1 a week.

Who needs to launch more than one product a week?! It’s insane!

This is a clear example of someone that doesn’t make money doing what he teaches, and instead just profits off of outsourcing the writing of his products or re-writing PLR content and giving it a ridiculous name that doesn’t necessarily reflect what’s inside the product.

It’s all part of the launch formula, instead of trying to create something that people actually need. This really should be renamed “1 Possible Way To Get Some Traffic, Maybe” and be a blog post instead of a 39 page PDF.

    1. Totally agreed Nathaniell!

It truly is crazy to launch more than a product a week.
As I mention to Tony – it’s like a smash and grab crime without any regard to who buys.

  4. These are the types of quick hit products that give the Warrior Forum a bad name. While there are a FEW really great training opportunities over at WF, products like this one continue to degrade the overall quality of them to the point that people will eventually stop coming altogether. Thanks for the great review.

    1. LOL.. quick hit products.

Sounds similar to smash and grab jobs.
But you’ve nailed it on the head.

Low quality content for a quick buck and do it over and over again to make a living and not care about who has fallen victim.
