There are a lot of courses out there that promise to be able to teach you how to make money online quickly. One such course that promises to show you a method to earn income online fast and without spending a lot of money is Instructo. In this Instructo review, we’re going to see if it delivers on its promise to help you create “multiple income streams fast,” or if it leaves you desperately searching for further instructions.
What is Instructo?
Instructo is a course created by Amy Harrop that promises to teach you how you can make money online by creating “simple visual and written tutorials.” According to its sales page, Instructo can be implemented without a website or experience and has no additional costs whatsoever.
The Instructo Buying Process
The sales page for Instructo is like many others in this genre. It greets you with heading text that promises to make struggling to earn money online a thing of the past. Unlike many of the other sales pages out there for products like this, it doesn’t promise outlandish results. Instead, Amy just promises to show you a method that will help you generate income by creating “simple visual and written tutorials.”
The sales page does say that Instructo will help you to create “multiple online income streams,” but it doesn’t really go into a lot of detail as to how you’re going to do it. You’re basically told that you’ll be creating visual and written tutorial content.
One thing that is very nice about the sales page versus many others online is that you are shown exactly what you will be receiving with the course for $27. It’s refreshing to see that Instructo has such a crystal-clear sales page but doesn’t leave you feeling like you have absolutely no idea what you’re paying for.
After purchasing the core product, you’re taken into the sales funnel for Instructo. The sales funnel has 3 products:
- Upsell #1:
Done for You Instructo Content $27- This upsell includes “20 professionally designed visual tutorial templates you can simply copy, paste, and publish.” Normally, I’m not a fan of upsells, but if you decide that you like the method that Amy teaches, these could be a valuable addition. - Upsell #2:
Publishing Profit Paths $97 – This is a separate course created by Amy that teaches her methods of content marketing and creating income with content. While this upsell isn’t for me, it is one that I would consider to be of good value as it offers to teach you a separate skill set that builds on the core course but is it necessary to succeed with the core course. - Upsell #3:
IM How to Videos $27 – This upsell is for a video series that promises to teach you some of the technical aspects to running an online business. Things like registering a domain name, setting up hosting and WordPress, and more. I have a couple of issues with this upsell though as it promises to teach things like on-site and off-site SEO as well as running Facebook ad campaigns and more on the sales page. The reason I have an issue with the upsell is that if you click the sales video, you can quickly see that it was created in 2015 as shown in the image below. A lot has changed since 2015 and I can’t help but wonder if the training is up to date. Regardless, I opted to pass on the upsell.
After saying no to the third upsell in the funnel, you’re taken to a page where you can access the Instructo course.
Pros and Cons of Instructo
Pros:
- Lack of Hype on Sales Page
With most products like this, there is a lot of hype that will only happen under very special circumstances. Amy doesn’t promise millions and only deliver pennies. - Good Sales Funnel
Many sales funnels for products and courses like this intentionally leave pieces of the core product out and include them as upsells. The Instructo funnel offers supplemental courses and products that aren’t necessary to succeed with the base product but do offer value if you want to go further with earning money from your content. - In-Depth Training
The method that Amy covers inside of Instructo is done so in a very in-depth 95-page eBook as well as 5 over the shoulder videos. While it is only one method of income generation, she leaves nothing out and guides you step by step on how to get everything up and running. - Good Bonuses
The initial Instructo program comes with several bonuses that on their own, contain a good amount of value for the price of the base product.
Cons:
- Only Teaches One Method
While Amy does a great job of providing an in-depth course in Instructo, it’s still only one method of creating income online. If you’re wanting to run a full-time online business, you’ll need more training outside of the Instructo course. - Dated Upsell
While all the upsells in the Instructo funnel add value to your initial purchase, the final upsell, “IM How to Videos,” concerns me because the sales video for the upsell was created in 2015. There have been many changes to multiple areas that this product promises to teach with some methods that were great in 2015 being bad for your business now. If the training hasn’t been updated, it could potentially cause problems for you down the road. - Videos Feel Unprepared
While the videos included with Instructo give you an over the shoulder approach to the method outlined in Instructo, they feel like they were created on the fly. Amy repeats herself multiple times throughout the videos and they can be challenging to follow at times, in my opinion.
Instructo Review – Great Instruction for an Actionable Method
Many courses promise the moon and then deliver very little value after you’ve your purchase. This isn’t the case when it comes to Instructo.
Instead, Amy gives a very in-depth course on how to create high quality but simple instruction based content and then how to make money with that content. She goes into detail about multiple places that you can publish your content to make money with it and even guides you step-by-step on how to set up accounts, get your work published and provides you with some basic marketing strategies for your content.
If you’re looking to make a decent amount of extra money on the side, this course can provide you with an actionable method that you can begin implementing very quickly without having to spend any additional money. Amy delivers on the promises that she makes on her sales page and goes above and beyond what I expected to receive in the form of multiple bonuses and additional tips and tricks, in my opinion.
The problem is that while she is very in-depth with the content creation method she teaches, if you’re wanting to run a full-time online business, this is only a piece of a much larger puzzle that you’re left trying to solve on your own.
This course could be an amazing resource for people who are struggling to create longform written content but if you’re wanting to create a full-time income online, you may want to consider a different option.

As mentioned above, if you’re wanting to create a great income on the side, you should take the time to check out Instructo as Amy does deliver a very good resource for significant side income generation online. It could also serve as a great jumping off point that you can then build on with additional training.
