There are a lot of courses that claim they can teach you how to make money online through affiliate marketing. Buy a domain and hosting, set up a website, add a few affiliate links and the money starts rolling in. But is it really that easy? Passive Income Geek is one such course that makes that claim. In this Passive income Geek review, we’ll look at what’s in the course to see if we can find any holes. In this case, the lack of information could be a problem. Let’s see what it’s all about.
What Is Passive Income Geek?
Passive Income Geek is a training course that teaches people how to succeed in affiliate marketing. Morten Storgaard is the creator of the course. He has been building affiliate marketing websites since 2007 while he was an SEO Consultant. Once his sites started making decent money, he left his consulting job.
Morten Storgaard dabbled in other programs before he created this one. He’s been a student of the Income School Project 24 as well as other programs. He took the knowledge gained from those courses and pieced it together to create Passive Income Geek.
The course includes videos, text, and all the tools he uses. Some are paid and some are free. The course provides step-by-step instructions on how to generate a full-time income with passive income websites. It’s a self-paced course so you can do this course in your spare time.
In case you are wondering what passive income is, it’s basically setting up a website with affiliate links that generate income with little to no involvement from the owner.

Pros
Self-paced: You can work on this course whenever you have spare time all while keeping your day job.
30-day Refund Policy: You can try out the product for 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can request a full refund.
Reasonable Price: $299 is not a huge amount of money for the amount of training in this program.
Cons
Recently Launched: At the time of this review, this training course is only eight months old so it’s hard to tell how successful you will be. It doesn’t really even have a track record yet.
Hidden Costs: You will have to pay extra for use of some of the tools. You also have to pay for a domain name and hosting.
No Success Stories: According to my research, there are no real success stories that I could find. No one has claimed to have made X by using these techniques. In fact, it’s been difficult to find any success stories
Can You Make Money With Passive Income Geek?
It’s quite possible that if you follow the training you can make money. How much is the question? I have found instances where Passive Income Geek students claim that they have seen good Google traffic upwards of 10,000 views a month. But it’s not clear how much of that traffic translates into income.
Is Passive Income Geek a Scam?
Considering the price and the course content, I wouldn’t say that Passive Income Geek is a scam. I do wonder about actual student success. Unfortunately, I couldn’t verify that any student made money by implementing the steps in this training course.
Final Thoughts
One would think that the price of this course is reasonable. But if you factor in the other expenses, it’s much more than $299. Hosting costs can run you a few hundred dollars a year. A domain name is around $15 a year. Passive Income Geeks recommends Hostarmada for your hosting. A starter plan with Hostarmada will cost $2.99 per month. ($36 per year). That’s just an example of one of the tools you need to pay extra for.
