Pruvit MLM Review – Can You Prove It Makes Money with Keto?

When looking for a way to make extra money, the first thing you do is to look for a product or service you can sell that people actually want to buy. Weight loss products, and in particular, keto products, are incredibly popular and there are plenty of them on the market. Prüvit is a company that sells weight loss products and other supplements. But what will it take for you to make money selling these products? In this Pruvit MLM Review, we’ll examine the products to see if this is as lucrative as promised. You’ll probably lose more than weight with this one. 

What is Prüvit MLM?

Prüvit is a multi-level marketing company founded by Brian Underwood. The company is based in Texas and sells nutritional products. They are one of the largest companies in the industry, and they have been around since 2007. The products are sold by independent distributors (IDs) who earn commissions from their sales. 

Before we talk about the products, let’s talk about keto diets and why someone would want to use these products.

If you’ve ever known someone with Diabetes, you know that they have to limit their carbohydrate intake to keep their blood sugar from spiking. The keto diet does that as well. The idea is to keep your blood sugar from spiking up and down and releasing too much insulin. The keto diet is a high fat, low carb diet that focuses on the intake of vegetables, lean meats, eggs, fish, and vegetable fats such as avocados. 

There’s no sugar allowed on a keto diet. And since bread, grains, and pasta are converted into sugar, they are not allowed either. They are replaced with healthy fats instead.

The reduction of carbohydrates puts your body in a state of ketosis. Prüvit products are supposed to help you get into and stay in ketosis. 

Are Prüvit Products Worth Their Price? 

Prüvit sells different kinds of vitamins, minerals, protein powders, weight loss supplements, and other health products. One of the products is the Ketos//os NAT Lite Prüvit Pure Therapeutic Ketones. 

These drinks are supposed to get you into a ketosis state faster. This drink supplies 20 servings and is caffeine-free. it is recommended that you drink a minimum of two drinks per day which means that this is, at best, only a 10-day supply. It’s very high in B6 and B12 vitamins and also very high in sodium. So anyone that needs to watch their sodium levels should be careful here especially if you are drinking these drinks 2-3 times a day.

You can also buy product bundles. But these products don’t come cheap. The product above will set you back $130 ($10 per day). That works out to $390 per month! And that’s just for this drink! So I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that these products are very expensive.

Product Reviews 

There are certainly plenty of people out there willing to give their opinion on these products. Some say that they taste horrible, are very expensive, and customers only received 10 packets instead of 20 as listed on the box.  

The Prüvit Opportunity 

This company works on a network marketing model. Basically, you will be required to recruit people into your downline. You can earn commissions by recruiting new members into the company. To get started, you need to purchase starter kits. These kits contain some training materials as well as samples of their products. 

You’ll need to meet a few requirements first. You must:

• Be 18 years old or older
• Live in the United States
• Be able to work from home
• Have access to the internet
• Not be convicted of any crime
• Pass a background check

After you complete the training, you will receive your first kit. Then, you will begin selling the products.

You join Prüvit as an Independent Distributor (ID) or Associate ID. As an ID you get paid monthly commission checks based on the number of people you recruit and the number of sales they make. If you choose to become an associate ID then you can also receive a percentage of the sales made by those you recruited.

How Much Does It Cost To Join Prüvit?

To get started, you’ll need to invest in a starter kit. And it doesn’t come cheap as you can see below.

The Brand Builder Pack-Mini is $497 (originally $650) and the Brand Builder Pack-Max is $780 (originally $1,300). 

Other costs include the $37 Annual Promoter Fee as well as hidden costs. These costs include Internet, phone calls, gas, and vehicle maintenance.

The Annual Promoter Fee gives you personal access to your account on the company website.

Can You Make Money With Prüvit?

In order to make money with Prüvit, you need to recruit people to join your team as well as sell products. Not to mention being a personal user of the products. You earn money based on product sales and residual income from sales made by people in your team.

Once again, this MLM company uses a point system. Each product is worth a certain number of points. To keep your account active, you need to have 50 PQV (Personal Qualifying Volume) each week. 

According to my research, there’s no definitive information about how the point system works or the commission rates. 

Based on the price of the products and the initial investment, you probably won’t make money here. The image below is taken from the 2020 Income Disclosure Statement.

Promoters who made t$1,071 for the year averaged $14.25 a month. If you bought the lower-cost starter kit for $497 and made $14.25 a month, it would take you 35 months just to pay off the starter kit!

Pros 

Good Customer Reviews: For the most part, customers seem to really like the products.

Good Customer Service: fast and efficient customer service.

Good Results: Customers who use the products claim to have had great results in losing weight.

Cons 

Very Expensive Products: Starter kits and products are very expensive.

BBB Complaints: According to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) an alert was placed on this business. In April 2020, the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) sent Pruvit a warning letter to advise their distributors to stop telling people they can get rich by selling these products and investing in the business.

Misleading Product Claims: Distributors made misleading claims that some of these products can actually treat Covid-19.

Is Prüvit a Scam? 

Based on the initial investment, this is one time where I’m tempted to say that this is a scam. And to then actually try to convince people to buy these products seems like a no-win situation leaving you destined to fail.  The BBB complaints don’t help this company either.

Final Thoughts 

There is always risk involved when working for an MLM company. In fact, most people who join these types of companies lose money. In general, the success rate with this type of business model is very low. That means that you will have a hard time making money. Most people fail within the first year.
