One of the biggest issues that many online business owners face is creating quality content that people enjoy reading while also making certain that it ranks well in the search engines. This is where a newer service called Webtexttool comes into play. In this Webtexttool review I’m going to be looking at the services the company offers, and determining if this is a must have tool for your online business.

What Is Webtexttool?

Webtexttool is an online software as a service that combines many different SEO tools into one easy to access utility that is available on their site and as a plugin for WordPress, Joomla, Microsoft Word, and a few other platforms. Basically, the tool allows you to optimize your keywords and content while also providing you with the ability to track how well your content is ranking on the search engines (Google, Bing & Yahoo) for your keywords.

Who Is It for?

The creators behind Webtexttool market the product as being a go to solution for anyone who wants to rank content via posts or pages. With that said, you do have some other options available that we’ll get into a little bit more in the review below.

How Much Is It?

In my opinion, this is the biggest downside of Webtexttool. As I mentioned above, the people who will benefit the most from this tool are those who are just getting started with creating content that is designed to be read on the web. Normally, when you’re just getting started with an online business, you must make every dollar count. Unfortunately, Webtexttool is a very expensive subscription, even if you already have your business established. While the lowest price package available for this software is under $20 a month when paid annually, it doesn’t include what I believe to be the best feature of the product. It does allow you to have several of the functions that are available in bigger packages, but the cheapest you can access what the developer calls the “Text Conversion Optimizer” for is a staggering $116.43 per month, billed annually. Yes, you read that correctly. If you want access to what I believe is the best part of this tool, you’re going to be paying a whopping $1397.16 every year. Webtexttool Pricing I believe this to be a very high amount for what the tool delivers because there are other ways to get the same kind of results for a significantly lower investment.

Webtexttool Review

When I first heard about Webtexttool, I was excited. It looked like a very intuitive interface that I believed could help significantly with my content marketing efforts. Once I got inside the program and started playing around a bit, I began to realize that it honestly felt like it had just combined multiple successful tools into one platform. Now, if you’re just getting started with creating optimized web content for visitors and search engines, this may be a solution that you want to check out. Be warned however, it’s a very expensive option. It does deliver what it promises by giving you a handy interface that will help you create content people enjoy reading on the web while also making certain that your content has the best possible chance of ranking well on search engines. Worst of all, in my opinion, there’s really nothing new here. Yes, it does combine multiple tools into one easy-to-use platform, but you can get basically the same data for a lot less money elsewhere. Let’s look at my favorite feature of the tool, the “Text Conversion Optimizer,” for example. Webtexttool Analyzer This tool basically gives you what it considers to be a readability score. If this sounds familiar, and you’re using the free Yoast SEO plugin, then that’s because this terminology should be familiar. This is because Yoast SEO gives you a readability score as well that takes many of the same factors into account when determining how well your content is written for web readers. Yoast Seo Readability Yes, Webtexttool does give you many different possible changes that will help to increase your overall content readability, but so does Yoast. There are a few small differences between the two, but honestly, I don’t believe they warrant the cost of the software. Another feature that Webtexttool has that I enjoyed is that it gives you a platform to better manage your posts and how their performing. Thanks to a tool inside of Wealthy Affiliate called SiteContent, I already have a management platform that lets me quickly analyze new content to make certain that it is completely unique to my site, and it helps me to keep everything managed in an easy to navigate area. The third feature that I thought was impressive inside of Webtexttool was its’ ability to track and monitor keyword rankings for my content. Since Jaaxy is now included with Wealthy Affiliate premium memberships, I’m able to track how well my keywords are performing already. The final feature that I really enjoyed was the fact that if my chosen keyword was too competitive, Webtexttool would offer me alternatives that were easier to rank for, but I currently use Jaaxy for this feature before I ever decide what keyword I’m going to target in the first place. I think this is a pretty standard feature that any other keyword tool on the market, at least the ones I’ve tried, all seem to have. Your membership with Webtexttool also lets you have a WordPress plug-in that feeds into the services offered on the Webtexttool site. While the plug-in is handy to have access to data on the same page as where you’re putting content to publish for your site, I ran into a couple of issues with it. First, it takes up a lot of space inside of your WordPress content creation area. Second, while it does give you the ability to create meta titles and social meta titles, you must copy and paste them into your SEO tool of choice. While being able to optimize these titles is nice, it seemed like an unnecessary step to have to take the time to copy and paste them rather than having them be integrated into the SEO plug-in already. Finally, while I’m not a personal fan of page builders, other users have stated that the plug-in does not allow you to monitor your progress for better scores while you’re writing it inside of the builder. To do that, you must go into the builder, edit your text, and then come back to the main WordPress dashboard area of your post to see if your score has improved. If you’re someone who does like to use WordPress page builders, I think this issue could be a major time sink for you when you’re trying to get your overall score higher according to the tool. Overall, Webtexttool does a great job in combining multiple different functions into one easy to use platform. I just think that it’s a bit too pricey when you look at how much you’re spending by going with a great SEO plug-in that’s free, and a premium membership at Wealthy Affiliate that’s less than $50 per month and even lower if you decide to go with an annual membership.

Pros and Cons of Webtexttool

Pros:

  • Great Tool for New Web Writers and Online Business Owners As mentioned above, Webtexttool can really help you bridge the gap if you’re new to writing content for web readers that will rank well on search engines.
  • Provides You with Keyword Competition Data as You Create Content The tool does give you the ability to see if there are any other keywords that you would be better off trying to go after, and it does this in an easy to use interface. Personally, I check how competitive keywords are inside of Jaaxy before I ever start writing content.
  • Helps Optimize Your Content The tool does deliver on its promises by helping you create content that is better optimized for web readers and search engines like. However, you can get most of the same data for free from SEO plugins like Yoast SEO.

Cons:

  • Price As I emphasized above, the amount of money you must invest to gain access to the tool is very significant. This is especially true when you compare it to other options that are available online.
  • Plugin Integration While the WordPress plug-in is nice to have as it allows you to utilize the tool inside of WordPress, it’s integration is lacking. Instead of helping me to save time, it added additional steps that I could’ve done just as easily inside of the post writing area by using Yoast SEO.

Does Webtexttool Rank Content?

Using Webtexttool would obviously help you rank content much easier than having nothing else available to you. In fact, it’s sleek interface, great variety of tools, and WordPress integration may be better than having to use multiple tools for some users. In my opinion, using Yoast SEO and Jaaxy for your SEO needs and keyword discovery, and combining a platform such as the Wealthy Affiliate SiteContent tool would be more than sufficient alternatives for the tools that Webtexttool gives you, and you can get them for less than 1/3 of the annual price that you be paying for Webtexttool.

Final Thoughts

With all things considered, Webtexttool provides an impressive array of tools all in one easy to use interface. While it’s great for beginner web content creators and new online business owners, the price tag associated with it is a significant investment that could be spent better elsewhere. While tools that help you identify profitable keywords that you can rank for with your content, help you to optimize your writing for web audiences and search engines, and give you the ability to track how well your content ranks over time are essential to the success of your online business, the money that you can save by taking advantage of less expensive options is very substantial. In my opinion, you’d be better off going with cheaper alternatives to the tools available inside of Webtexttool and then having that additional money set aside for other important investments that you’ll need to make as you progress with your online business.

  1. I really appreciate your article on Webtexttool it is totally informative in a very understandable way. this platform seem’s to make sense for a newbie like myself, who is just now really getting into the groove of things. with that being said I am very pleased in running across this article, thank you for the pros and cons. So my question would be how relevant would it be for myself that is moving forward with much better content now to move forward with this platform, say for a year, sincerely, Jack

  2. Hey there,

I have to say that you have really saved me, big time.
I was considering getting the webtexttool because I felt it was really the option I had to keep growing my business, but the option you have given seems to be much better.

Using yoast, Jaaxy and sitecontent is much cheaper for me and would be even more convenient because I have already signed up for Jaaxy. So I will only need the two others.

  3. Thanks Jay. Great information here.Your website has a lot of good info for the beginner. Liked and bookmarked. The problem with being a newbie is the huge amount of options available out there, it can be a bit confusing at times. Also, newbies are on a budget, so paying over a $1300 per year is too expensive. I signed up for your 10 day course. Looks interesting. Do you suggest beginners use Yeost SEO?

  4. The Webtextool looks like a very handy tool to have in our armoury but the price is somewhat expensive. I’m also a person that likes to use Sitebuilders and going back to my WP Dashboard would waste a lot of time.
Can you explain how the Jaxxy Keyword Tool works to find out what keywords are ranking on Google and Bing?
    Thanks, Jeff.

  5. I’ve never heard of webtexttool or Yoast SEO. Thanks for the deep research you’ve done. I currently use some of the tools you mentioned, but not Yoast (which I’m excited to look into). Webtexttool is quite expensive! But maybe when my online business takes off – thanks for sharing your opinion. Every dollar does count right now! Do you think it’s worth paying for SEO tools at all? Or are free options more viable for a startup.
