Atomy MLM Review

If you've heard of companies like Amway and Shaklee, Atomy won't be far off. It's a company that sells herbal supplements and other related products. However, selling products in your spare time comes with some problems. In this Atomy MLM review, we take a look at the compensation plan and products to see if this is a good way to make extra money. It may not be as simple as you think. So first, let's learn a little bit about the company.

What is Atomy MLM?

Atomy is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company founded in 2009 by Han-Gill Park. It's a Korean company founded in the UK that sells beauty and skin care products and nutritional supplements. The company claims to have 15 million members operating worldwide. In 2020, the company reached $1.7 billion in revenue and had 10 million registered members worldwide.

Are Atomy Products Worth Their Price?

So let's take a look at whether Atomy's products are worth the price. HemoHIM is Atomy's best-selling product. It is a dietary supplement originally intended for people with weak immune systems, such as cancer and chemo patients. It sells on Amazon for $105.

HemoHIM is designed to deliver more oxygen to the body through the bloodstream. Its goal is to boost the immune system. For cancer patients, HemoHIM claims to make the body more resistant to radiation.

HemoHIM also claims to increase your energy, body functions and system functions. HemoHIM is a very popular product, and there is really no other product that compares. Customers are very satisfied with this product. It has a rating of 5.0/5 on the Atomy website.

So are these products worth the price? For this particular product, it's possible. There are products specifically designed to improve the immune system, such as probiotics and other products that cost a fraction of the price. None of these products claim to make the body more resistant to radiation therapy.

The Atomy Opportunity

The Atomy system works a little differently than other MLMs. To get started, you simply buy products. But to earn commissions, you need to buy 10,000 PV (point value) worth of products. The point system seems high because it is based on South Korean currency.

For example, three Atomy toothbrushes at $27 equals 11,700 PV. 1,000 Korean Won. This means you have already accumulated more than enough points to qualify for commissions.

An important note: To qualify for commissions, you must be sponsored by a sponsor.

You buy products online and not from your upline distributor so you don't get stuck with inventory you can't sell.

How Much Does It Cost To Join Atomy?

Atomy does not require you to purchase a starter kit and there is no registration fee. You simply create an account on the site, agree to the company's policies, and fill out the member registration form. Once you receive a membership number, you are a member and can order products.

To maintain your membership, you only need to make a purchase once a year.

Can You Make Money With Atomy?

One of the main concerns you should have when selling herbal supplements is whether the products are FDA approved. The Atomy website states that the products are FDA approved. But on the individual products it says, "statements regarding dietary supplements have not been evaluated by the FDA..."

At this point, you need to be careful. In general, the FDA does not approve herbal supplement products. The FDA monitors the safety of dietary supplements once they are on the market. But it's important to know that under federal law, the FDA is not required to approve dietary supplements.

The first step is to become a member. Basically, you do not have to recruit at all. You can earn commissions on products you buy for yourself. Commissions are based on consumption. However, you need to be sponsored by a sponsor to become a member and buy products. This is passive income. To qualify for commissions, you need to accumulate 10,000 PV points, which is about $30.

To make more money, you need to build a group of loyal buyers. This makes you a distributor because your buyers will only buy from you or through you with your website link. You don't need to buy other products if you don't want to. You can rely completely on your buyers.

Pros of Atomy

100% Natural Products: All Atomy products are made from 100% natural herbal ingredients.

Product Guarantee: 30-day money back guarantee on products.

Minimum Purchase Requirement: you only need to purchase one product per year to remain an active member.

No Fees to Join: There are no membership fees or expensive starter kits that you need to buy.

Cons of Atomy

Complex Commission Structure: first you must have a personal PV of 300,000 points. Then you have a left team and a right team. These teams must also have 300,000 points before you receive commissions. To help your teams reach their quota so you can get commissions, you can buy products through them to increase their PV. It gets more complicated from there.

Recruitment Pressure: Recruitment is not mandatory, but if you want to make more money with this business model, it is necessary.

BBB Complaints: According to the BBB (Better Business Bureau), there have been some customers who have ordered online but never received their products. Also, the BBB has flagged this business for not being located at the address provided.

No FDA Approval: the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is not responsible for approving the ingredients of dietary supplements. Any claims to the contrary may be exaggerated.

Language Issues: Most, if not all, of the product information is written in Korean making it impossible to know what’s in the product unless you know the language.

Is Atomy A Scam?

On the one hand, MLMs make no apologies for their business model. On the other hand, it's not always clear how the compensation structure and product sales really work until you sign up. Then all is revealed by an upline salesperson. It can be difficult to make an informed decision if you do not know how it all works. So is Atomy a scam? No. You just need to be aware of what you are getting into.

Final Thoughts

The only way you can make money with an MLM is by selling products and recruiting people. It really is that simple. The first place you'll start is with your family, friends and colleagues who may feel compelled to make an initial purchase, but probably won't be long-term customers. And those are just the people you know.
