Vestige Marketing MLM Review – Cold Hard Cash in Coenzyme?

Finding ways to make extra money with a flexible schedule can be tough. Working for multi-level marketing companies makes it easy. All you have to do is sell products in your spare time to earn money. What makes the difference is the products. If you can't back the products, how can you sell them? In this Vestige Marketing MLM review, we'll look at what's missing from the products. Only then can you understand why selling these products will be difficult.

What is Vestige Marketing MLM?

Vestige Marketing was founded by Gautam Bali in 2004 and is based in India. They sell a wide range of health and wellness products. 

It's one of the largest direct-selling companies in India with over 3,000 online and offline sales outlets as well as several distribution centers and multinational offices.

The company has received a number of awards including:

But, Vestige Marketing is a multi-level marketing company. This means that the products are sold on a commission basis.  

Are Products Worth Their Price? 

Vestige has a wide range of different product ranges that include health care, health food, oral care products, nutritional supplements, personal care, and agricultural products. Below is the Vestige Coenzyme Q10 which is an essential mineral for energy production.

Coenzyme Q10 is found naturally in fish such as tuna, mackerel, and sardines. It's also found in some vegetable oils and meats.

Coenzyme Q10 is most commonly used for heart health and is claimed to help lower blood pressure. There are 30 capsules in the product above and it is recommended that customers take 1-2 capsules per day. MRP 1050 converts to approximately $14 USD which is a reasonable price.

Unfortunately, the website doesn't give any supplement information so it's unclear how much Coenzyme Q10 is actually in the capsules. A typical dose is 100-200 milligrams. It's not clear if this product meets the daily dose minimum.

Product Reviews 

All of the products seem to be reasonably priced when converted to US dollars. Unfortunately, none of the products have detailed descriptions making it hard to decide if the product is right for you or not. The descriptions detail what the products are used for and recommended doses only.

There's no way to know if any of these products contain ingredients you may be allergic to or chemicals you may have a reaction to. 

Customers have not been very happy with these products and complain about the poor quality.

The Vestige Marketing Business Opportunity 

To get started, all you have to do is fill out a form on the website. You do need to have a sponsor. But if you don't, one will be assigned to you. Once you join Vestige Marketing, you will be expected to buy products. These products are purchased at wholesale prices and sold at retail prices. The difference is your commission.

There are a number of different business tools you can buy such as product catalogs, laptop bags, flip charts, and success planners.

Training is conducted online. Once you sign up, you can attend training sessions through the online scheduler.

How Much Does It Cost To Join Vestige Marketing?

There's no fee to join Vestige Marketing. It's advisable to buy some of the business tools which will cost $3 and up. You'll also need to buy $15 worth of products to activate your account. If you don't make any sales, you need to buy $300 worth of products each month to keep your account active. 

Other costs associated with joining are the hidden costs incurred in the course of doing business. These costs include Internet service, phone calls, and perhaps gas and maintenance on your car.

Can You Make Money With Vestige Marketing

The way to make money here is by selling products and recruiting people to join your team. The commission you earn is the margin between wholesale and retail. This works out to about 10-20%.

What makes it hard to make money here is that you must continue to buy products and/or sell products to keep up your PV (Personal Volume) levels.

• Flexible Schedule: Products can be sold in your spare time on your own schedule.

Cons 

• Low Commissions: Distributors earn an average of 15-20% on products sold to customers. If they don't sell any products they must buy products to keep up their monthly quota. So you end up using all your commission money to buy more products.
• Poor Quality Products: According to my research, many customers have been unhappy with the quality of the products.
• Activation Cost: While you can join for free, you have to buy products before your account is activated.
• Monthly Quotas: To keep your membership active, you must sell 300 PV in the first month.

Is Vestige Marketing a Scam? 

Vestige Marketing isn't a scam. But maybe the better question we should be asking is, why does it feel like a scam? So many of these commission-based companies feel like a scam because you have to be both a customer and a distributor. So even if you sell nothing, you are still a customer. The company still makes money.

Final Thoughts 

Selling products for commissions is tough no matter how great the products are. But if there's no information about the products, they will be an even tougher sell. How can you sell products if you know nothing about them?

At a bare minimum, you'll make 10-20% commission from all the products you sell. But you will probably never make enough to change your lifestyle.
